Nutella Pudding Cake Filling Recipe

This Homemade Nutella Pudding is perfect to fill cakes and cupcakes! It is super delicious! You will also enjoy it as an easy dessert! Just top with some whipped cream and hazelnuts and voila!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 4 Tbsp corn starch
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • ¼ tspn salt

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, heavy cream, Nutella, vanilla and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the Nutella has melted and mixture is starting to boil. Remove from heat.
  • In a separate bowl make a slurry of the corn starch and the water. Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved into the water.
  • Mix the slurry into the pudding mixture and continue to simmer for another minute while constantly stirring.
  • When the pudding starts to boil remove from heat and pour into a heat resistant container and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Let it cool to room temperature. Then store in refrigerator for up to a week.
